Fact of the Day: Jason Dunham

Jason Dunham was a Marine during the early days of the Iraq War. While under attack, Jason jumped on a grenade to save his fellow Marines. He didn't die immediately, but his injuries would take his life about eight days later. He was awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously.

  3. So sad, but a reminder of how those in service think of others before themselves so very often. To think of the pain he must have suffered. So many other heroes have protected us, and we never hear their stories. Great post! Hugs...RO
