Photos: Old Technology for Hair and Speaking

These two were right next to each other at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. The first is this rather "colorful" hairdryer. My mom mentioned she remembered using one of these.
And I don't think I ever used one, but I do remember seeing Speak and Spell in the movie E.T.

  2. Yes, museum pieces, right next to the VHS videocassettes and the flint arrowheads. Technology marches on, ever faster.

  3. Can't recall that hairdryer could have had long hair at that time. Didn't use a hairdryer if I had long hair.

  4. I always loved Speak and Spell. I agree with the others. Now I feel old that it's in a museum!
