Fact of the day: Milk bags

In Canada, milk doesn't come in cartons or jugs sometimes. Often times they just buy them in bags. Wait what? Yeah they sell them in bags, less plastic, good for the environment, looks silly.
After they buy the bag they just get a pitcher. Cut a hole in the bag, and pour away.

We had that kind of milk-in-bag-and-pitcher in The Netherlands when I was a teenager, so that was in the late sixties of the last century.
They did not last very long...
