My Thoughts on the Presidency of William Henry Harrison

William Henry Harrison defeated Van Buren, and became the 9th President of the United States. The oldest President until Ronald Reagan came along.

Harrison wanted to prove that he was still the tough hero of Tippecanoe. He gave the longest inaugural address without a coat or hat on a cold wet day. It took him about 2 hours to read the damn thing.

Harrison promised the reversal of many of the polices of Jackson and Van Buren. Though he didn't get much done.

Mainly because 3 weeks after office, he caught a cold. It later turned into pneumonia, the treatments given to him made him worse, and then he died. Becoming the first president to die in office, and dying in just 30 days making him the shortest-serving President ever.
