Fact of the Day: The Only Great English Monarch


King Alfred who ruled between 871-899 was the only English monarch to get the title "The Great" added to their name.

Learned something new today. There's this thing about monarchs and the fact that they can be terribly uncreative with names, repeating them endlessly. Alfred the Great is not too bad in that case :)
