Fact of The Day: Teddy Roosevelt Didn't Disappoint On Promises

A blizzard had struck New York City during Teddy's lifetime. He had made a promise to meet a librarian, and walked 50 city blocks to make the meeting. He arrived, and found out that there was nobody, so he walked back home. He later wrote to the woman and acknowledged that the blizzard must of kept her home.

Nice of him to keep the promise and come even if it meant walking 50 city blocks in that weather. Bummer that she didn't show up though lol.
