I remember playing the NES version of the game on the GC version of Animal Crossing as a hidden unlockable secret. Wario should go back to living in the woods after making this sad excuse for a puzzle game.
It seems Nintendo wanted yet another Tetris clone, and Wario's Woods seemed so illogically developed. Kinda reminds me of Hatris. They had a need to sell this game for an easy buck, yet in their rush they made a mediocre experience.
Now there were a few more versions made such as the graphically superior SNES version, but when the gameplay is flawed so much, there's nothing graphics can do to help it.
