It's hard for many newer movies to make the list of all-time Christmas classics, but I honestly think a lot of people will be showing their kids this movie for years to come.
Will Ferrell plays his most fantastic role ever as Buddy the Elf. He works as an elf at the North Pole since he was a child, and he finds out that he's really a human adopted by Papa Elf. His adoptive papa sends him all the information he needs to find his real father who has no idea he was even born.
Buddy is just so charming, innocent, and stupid. About everything he does is hysterical to just plain genius. I loved seeing him interact with the real world.
I also liked Zooey Deschanel's role in the movie as Buddy's love interest, a young retail worker named Jovie. This was also the first movie I've ever seen Deschanel in, and I was surprised when I didn't realize who she was watching it a 2nd time.
If you have not seen this movie, then you just have to. It will make Christmas even more special this year.
