While the game kinda went under the radar for many, some noticed the fact that the guys who made Goldeneye 64 developed Timesplitters 2. Even though some made fun of the Gamecube controller for FPS games, I didn't mind one bit.
The single player took you on missions in the past, present, and future. Plenty of places all over the world to visit as well. The missions were decent, and the campaign lasted a good bit.
However the real deal was the multi-player. Oh how I wish now for a XBLA remake with online multi-player support. That would be so sweet.
