My Favorite Memories: Playground at Hardee's

While most fast-food places had one back in the 90's (what's up with the disappearance today?) I think my favorite playground was at our local Hardee's. We used to go there all the time after we ate, and had a lot of fun.
My brother and I had a lot of fun playing in this one. It's a sea of color.

I think they're disappearing because sometimes people don't monitor their kids, etc. and companies are afraid of law suits/the are gets gross. Adorable pictures of you and your brother, though!

They disappeared because today children don't play anymore... At age 4-5 they give them a phone, and they get sucked into facebook and yahoo world. No more play.
In the 90s we had slides at McDonalds :D

those photos are absolutely adorable! do you remember when they called their version of a happy meal "the hardees silly sack." think about that for a minute. hardees was a high school hang out for some people during lunch, skipping class, or after school. where i used to live, they're all closed now.

Did all Hardee's have this exact same play place back in the early 90s? I realize these photos were uploaded 8 years ago so the person who posted them probably isn't even using this site anymore, but this looks exactly like the Hardee's play place I went to as a kid. The same yellow and red ball pit and that same gigantic plastic red slide that I was terrified of because I would always wear sweat pants as a kid and that slide would shock the hell out of me (see those two giant bolts at the bottom? They would zap me good). I remember there was a rope netting you had to climb to get up to the slide (my legs would often slip through it because the holes between the ropes were so big) and in the ball pit they had a little bullseye target in one corner that you had to try to throw the balls through.
