Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (360) Review

While many gamers go out on day 1 and buy the next Call of Duty game, I'm far more patient. I didn't even play the first Modern Warfare for a long time. Why the wait? Well I'm not that big into shooters, and I'm such a rookie at the multi-player. But I do like the series, so Modern Warfare 2 was one of my leftover Christmas games.
Like the original Modern Warfare, the single player mode is epic. Lots of great moments, and a few twists to the plot. It also features one of the most controversial missions in video game history.  I loved playing the missions featuring the war on American soil.
Multi-player is about the same as the last game plus new maps and weapons. I ironically played more on my brother's PS3 a few years ago, than on my 360. It's good, but I lack the skill to put some serious time into it.
They also have a Special Ops mode which is really just a bunch of mini-missions reusing areas from the campaign. It's a decent mode I'll give them that. But in a nutshell, I had a very good time with Modern Warfare 2, and it's been awhile since I spent most of my time playing hours upon hours into a single-player campaign in a FPS.

Score: 9 out of 10
