My Favorite Memories: 2005 JROTC Awards

This is after the ceremony was over. I had actually gotten an award from the Marine Corps even though our school was an Army JROTC. So I got a frame and a ribbon (the square colorful things to the right of the tie) nobody had received before. Pretty sweet.

That sounds cool, especially if nobody got it before. I was in the Navy JROTC for my school but I didn't like it much.

Cool you were the first with such a burst.

Good for you! I wish my high school had a Navy JROTC, but it was the 70s and all they had was the "Polyester Shirts and Platform Shoes Marching Club."
My cousin was in NJROTC at his high school.
I supposed that's why he just got selected for Commander and I retired as only a Lieutenant.
But, I still have my platform shoes.

yeah some of the Navy JROTCs around here I've seen are lackluster.
