Fact of the Day: 2nd Smartest Animal

Humans are by far the most intelligent species in the animal kingdom, and the 2nd smartest species is also the one that is most closely related. Chimpanzees are a bit smarter than dolphins; they can make tools, can hunt collectively, problem solve, long-term memory of names, use sign language, and can even make symbols for objects and combine them to express an complex idea.
