Fact of the Day: Southern Lights

While the Northern Lights are a spectacle adored by many in Alaska, Canada, Russia, and Nordic Countries, those in the Southern Hemisphere can also see their own version. The aurora australis can be seen by all in the far-southern regions of the Earth.

  1. Really? I've always thought that only those living up in the north can see those lights. I haven't seen them yet :(
