My Favorite Memories: Climbing Stairs At Chimney Rock

This is shortly after I met my girlfriend Daisy in May, 2010 as we went for a trip to Chimney Rock (a mountain with a nature park and shoppes) in North Carolina. Such a great view, but the stairs will eventually wear you out. Take the elevator to ease the pain on the way up. Climb back down.

  1. climbing stairs can be a real pain. then again the elevator takes the fun out of it.

  3. Sound advice, Adam. Climbing down is always easier than going up. There's one exception to this rule, though. I was once in Mexico where I climbed a pyramid. That took me, what, 20 seconds, but then when I was all the way up looking down....

  7. An elevator would make sense, but I would still climb up. Think buns and thighs... lol

  9. I actually heard that using the stairs to go up is good for the knees, but going down by stairs is actually bad for the knees.
