My Review of Pat Hatt's Books

So my buddy Pat Hatt sent me copies of his children e-books, and I thought I'd give a shout before I lose count. His first book (I think) was The Swashbuckle Chuckle and it's quite a good children's book. It also features art by The Berserk Herc himself which is worth a look. I think my favorite thing about it was the goofy characters like One Shoe Kangaroo, Mayor Green Goat, and Captain Frown Clown. It's quite a good read from left to right, all the way up and down.

Next is Gawk of the Mohawk, which features a much different art style than it's predecessor. But the same fun and rhyme is in this successor. The book stars Grutty who has quite the mohawk. But the fantastic imagination and wacky wizards will make you gleefully gawk.
Then we have Boo and the Backyard Zoo. And Boo and his crew know no foo. The adventure to send grape-face to space is quite ace.It also features the best art of all the books. That alone is worth the look.

The last is Cassie and the Wild Cat Meet and Greet. Which is quite the treat. By this book I can tell Pat has really evolved in his writing. The tale of the house-cat vs the wildcat is quite delighting. Simple and sweet, and it's quite neat. Of all the four, this is his magnum opus for sure.
