A Look Into Video Games: Talon

Talon was the owner of the Lon Lon Ranch in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This lovable oaf is actually based on Mario if you couldn't tell by the look and the Bowser pendant.
The first time you really meet Talon, Malon sends you out to find her father after he doesn't come back from a shipment. You find out that he took a nap while delivering milk to Hyrule Castle.. Talk about a relaxed monarchy when they let merchants just sleep royal grounds.
But when he wakes up he returns home, offers Link Malon's hand in marriage (seriously?), and lets Link play a mini-game.
In Future-Hyrule, Talon lost the ranch after Ganondorf gave it to his gruntled employee Ingo. So he basically becomes a homeless person until Link defeats Ingo and wakes Talon up.
Besides Ocarina of Time they also make a small cameo in Four Swords Adventures. I barely remember them during my time with the game.
And they have a much larger role in Oracle of Seasons. Never played that game, but I love the updated art style of the characters. He looks even more like Mario.
