Fact of the Day: Full Moon Eggs

Clownfish will typically lay their eggs almost always during a full moon. The babies will hatch just after dusk.

I wonder what purpose this serves them... Like, does it help the hatchlings swim in a certain direction or something?

i have heard of certain humans who get frisking on the full moon too. i wonder if there's a scientific component to that.
