Fact of the Day: Summer Hockey

While hockey is synonymous with Canada, it isn't always the national sport. During summertime it officially switches to lacrosse.

As a teen, I had never heard of lacrosse, even though I live in Canada. It's only in the last few years that I've noticed to being promoted more in my neighborhood, like soccer and ice hockey.

We lived for a year in Vancouver when I was in Grade 11...and the sports of lacrosse and cricket were so foreign to me!
