Japanese Words For the Day: Religion

Religion like their own Shinto 神道 is 宗教 (Shukyo)
 Judaism is ユダヤ (Yudaya Kyo)
Buddhism is 仏教 (Bukkyo)
Christianity is キリスト教 (Kirisutokyo)
Atheism is 無神論 (Mushiron)

I've always wanted to learn Japanese, but for a stupid reason. I am a huge fan of anime, and would like to watch Neon Genesis without subtitles.

there's a lot of people like that. It's not a bad reason. Though a series like that would take years of learning to understand. I try to watch more kid-friendly anime in Japanese since language is easier to understand and it's a bit hard to keep up.
