 Wolf is (Ookami)
 Tiger is  (Tora)
 Whale is 鯨 (Kujira)
 Walrus is セイウチ (Seiuchi)
Zebra is シマウマ (Shimauma)

If I'm not mistaken, kami is the Japanese word for God, so the title of that game was a bit of a play on words.

Shaw is right. Okami is the title of the goddess you play in the game. Kami means god, and o can be added to mean great
