Fact of the Day: Santa's Female Reindeer?

While Santa's reindeer are all male, but in real-life they would be lacking their antlers. Most males shed their antlers when December comes.

Yes, that's true when you are talking about the Northern Hemisphere. In winter in Australia where Deer are it's then they shed their antlers.

Ah so true. I carried one of those antlers when we were in Alaska. You would be shocked to feel how heavy they are! I don't know how they hold their heads up.
