My 2012 Christmas Tree

Since my mother can't breath easy due to her allergies to real Christmas trees, we got an artifical one. We had an old one last year, but it was a pain to put up and take apart. So we got a good deal on a new tree, and it was a snap to put together. My girlfriend Daisy fixed the branches where they look at nice and spaced out.
She also did the lights as well (I tried and failed last year) and they look so good. I wish my camera could capture more than a split second of it's beauty.
And we got the same light-up star from last year. My favorite one we ever had.
We also got a little "snow blanket" under the tree. We got some presents wrapped already to add to the holiday look. I guess I want have this luxury when I have children.

It looks great. We have artificial trees now because I think a real one would be too much temptation for the dogs!
