Fact of the Day: Great Defense

Hedgehogs have few very successful predators in the wild. This is because they curl up in a ball protected by the spiky quills on it's back. Their major cause of harm is from accidental collision with man-made objects like cars, litter, and lawn tools for example.

There are no hedgehogs in captivity. Instead, we are held captive by the hedgehog.
