While Valentine's Day is celebrated in China by some, another romantic event is the Qixi Festival which is often translated as "Night of Sevens". The festival is more about improving domestic arts and wishes for a good husband. It's celebrated on the 7th day of the 7th lunar month and originated during the Han Dynasty.
