Fact of the Day: July Valentine

While the date of Valentine's Day is February 14th, the Eastern Orthodox Church and other Eastern churches declares the date to be July 6th.

actually we don't have Valentines at all. But our calendars are different from yours, which is why our Christmas is in January and New Year too :)

well I don't know if it goes outside Serbia or not. But the church declares the date to be in July. Though I figure it's more a day honoring the dead saint than a cheesy romantic holiday
