Nintendo Unveils The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past 2 (3DS)

Even though it's a normal Wednesday (big news is usually saved for an event like E3), Nintendo showed off a new trailer for a brand new Zelda game for 3DS. And yes it is a sequel to the SNES classic A Link to the Past.
When I was first watching the trailer I was almost fearing a remake, but this is a brand new adventure. I couldn't understand everything (the trailer was in Japanese) but I did manage to understand a little bit. They did officially name it as The Legend of Zelda: The Triforce of the Gods (it's Japanese title) 2.
What really seems to make this game stand out from the original is Link's new power. He can turn into "art" and move across the wall into areas no person can fit through.
I thought A Link to the Past was one of the best Zelda games ever made, and I hope this sequel honors that legacy.

  3. Zelda was hands down my favorite game growing up! I was so excited when I saw I could download the original game onto the wii. My girls, however, thought it was stupid lol. Guess gaming has come a long way since then.

    1. they'd probably like the newer games like Skyward Sword. I liked that one even more than the original. And I loved the original.

  10. I'm kinda looking forward to it, especially if it means that a rerelease of Majora's Mask is going to be riding its coattails
