Fact of the Day: Augusta

Maine's capital Augusta is named in the honor of Augusta Dearborn. She was the daughter of Henry Dearborn who was a Revolutionary War hero and a veteran of the War of 1812.

I wouldn't name my daughter Augusta, but it's a pretty name for a city.
