While Super Smash Bros will obviously garner more attention, I was also happy to see Mario Kart 8 for the WiiU. I liked Mario Kart 7 on 3DS, and while some games in the series do disappoint a little, they're still superb racing games.
But it seems there won't be many surprises this go around. I can pretty much expect a decent amount of new and retro tracks.
The new game-play addition this time though seem to be the new ability to transform your go-kart into a hovercraft. Not so special on the ground but you can use it to race across walls or upside down on a track.
Looked a little confusing with the hovercraft, but only time will tell.
