Fact of the Day: First Lady Madison

First Lady Dolley Madison was raised a Quaker. When she married future-president James Madison (a deist), her church expelled her for marrying outside her faith. Her husband was also one of the biggest supporters of the separation of church and state in America's early days.

You have to love the way her church was so understanding....not! This is why I steer clear of organised religion.
