Random Photo: Piggy Bank

I actually never remember having a piggy bank as a child, but I saw this one painted like a baseball and decided to get it. I usually lose my coins, and I thought it be a nice piece of decor. Where's it going to? Well Daisy and I started to attend our local Universalist Unitarian church and since it's rather small I try to give what I can.

  1. Those are handy! I collected change in a change jar for an entire year back in 2004 and saved up enough for a vacation. Of course I was a waiter at that time so it was easier to collect a lot of change in the form of tips and such. As far as a piggy bank though, I never had one believe it or not! Makes me feel I missed out on a part of childhood.

  2. A nice place to collect loose change in. It's nice that you donate to the church you have joined.

  8. Hi Adam! What a good and worthy idea. Piggy banks are great for loose change, and it soon mounts up. Yours is a novel idea, and looks great on the shelf.

  9. I used to have one and I started putting in 1 cent coins. After a while I didnt know what to do with it and ended up leaving it at the corner.

  10. That's a nice idea. And the newer piggy banks have a nice "plug" in the bottom so you don't have to break them to get the money out.
