Horatio Nelson was a Navy officer (who eventually became an Admiral) known for his leadership in the British Navy. His leadership caused notable defeats for Napoleon Bonaparte and the French. Despite his legendary service, he suffered from sea-sickness.
Not the best career choice really!

Wow that's like someone who's afraid of heights becoming a pilot. I suppose that's a way of conquering your fear though!

ReplyDeleteDid you know that Nelson implemented square food trays on his ships so in rough seas the trays would lock together and not fall off tables. This is why today we talk about three "square" meals a day.
