Fact of the Day: Snow in Hawaii

While Hawaii is in a tropical region, there is snow in the state. The volcano Mauna Kea is at a tall enough altitude to have snow.

Thanks to Kay for letting me know this one.

Snow is not the first thing that springs to mind when I think of Hawaii. Interesting fact, and thank you for sharing.
