Fact of the Day: Utah Suffrage

During the 19th century before it was a state, Utah granted women the right to vote. Ironically when Utah became an official U.S. state, Utah women could not vote until the passage of the 19th amendment.

utah doesn't make a lot of sense a lot of the time. yes i know from personal experience.
