My Favorite Photos: Batting Cages

When I was a kid, starting from first grade until tenth grade I played baseball in a non-school team. In October Daisy and I went to a fun park, and they had batting cages. Seeing them brings back such fond memories and I had to give it a go.
This was actually the first time stepped up to the plate since I got contacts. When I was a kid I could see fine, but one year I played terribly as I needed glasses. Much easier to hit the baseball without glasses. Though it was a good thing I was wearing a helmet as one went straight up in the air and landed on my head.

Yes, helmet required! The all American sport!

Now you look neat!
We used to play 'rounders' on the beach sand when children. We used a cricket bat, plus a tennis ball and a pile of sand for 1st, 2nd & 3rd base.

Good think for helmets! You'd be sporting a nice headache right about now if you didn't have one on!
