Like the Gamecube, the Wii managed to get a few games that went a good bit beyond the family-friendly tone of the system. No More Heroes featured Travis Touchdown, a lovable loser with a laser sword. He is challenged to defeat the game's ten bosses, all very memorable and strange.
While the mini-games, and the combat were a bit boring; the boss battles and story were actually really awesome. The game itself at the end joked that there would never be a sequel. But to my surprise there was, and it was even better than the original.
