Fact of the Day: Darwin Mentor

Asa Gray is considered to be the greatest American botanist in the 19th century. His knowledge of plant biology helped Charles Darwin in the theory of evolution as plant species change over long periods of times like animals.

    1. well it seems more like a detail that gets lost as time goes by. In the 19th century, those who knew of Darwin probably knew of his friendship with Asa Gray
