Fact of the Day: Original USA Flag

While most Americans think the first flag of our country was the 13 Star Betsy Ross flag is not correct. Before it there was the Grand Union (Continental Colors) flag. Looking a lot like the U.S. flag except with the British Union Jack instead of the blue background with stars.

Hawaii's flag still has the Union Jack in it, I believe, because of its past linkages to Britain.
