Fact of the Day: Orange Citron

While nobody is completely sure where lemons originated, we do know of its lineage. Genetic evidence has shown that it was a hybrid of a sour orange and a citron.

Lemons are still called "citrons" in French. In case anyone cares, LOL!

In Swedish, we also call them citron/citroner :) I love lemons, but I guess that's because I actually like the sourness. Thanks for stopping by my blog Adam!

My grandpa had a lemon tree in his backyard and I remember loving the way it smelled.
