Fact of the Day: Comet Tail

Comets are especially known for their beautiful "tails" seen from the sky and space. The tail is caused when the Sun causes the frozen nature of the comet to change with a lot of dust and gas whirling out. Typically this can only happen when they reach the inner-solar system.

I would love to see a comet in my lifetime. I have seen a few shooting stars but never a comet.

I have yet to see a good comet. Haley's Comet really fizzled out.
