Fact of the Day: Nehru Fashion

India's first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru was well known for his style of coats. It became known as the Nehru jacket, and both The Beatles and The Monkees helped make it popular in the western world.

Well I'll be darned. My mother was a HUGE Monkees fan when she was younger. I'll have to let her know this :)

I didn´t know this. I knew that there is a type of neck in clothes called Mao because of Mao Tse Tung. Kisses:)

I recall my mother buying one of these for my dad. He never wore it.
