Fact of the Day: Lunar Asteroid

While most people know that a lot of planets have moons, in 1993 a moon was discovered orbiting around something that was not a planet. The moon named Dactyl was orbiting an asteroid named 243 Ida which lies between Mars and Jupiter.

I just read about this. Space is such a fascinating place. There are times when my wife would like me to make a prolonged visit there.
