Fact of the Day: First Lady Anne Robbins

Former First Lady Nancy Reagan's maiden name was Nancy Davis. However she was born Anne Robbins. She was nicknamed Nancy at an early age, and later took the surname of her stepfather Loyal Davis. Nancy and her stepfather got along remarkably well and she always referred to him as her father.

Looks like she had a wonderful relationship with her stepdad. Stepparents can be quite special.

She really was a beautiful woman, even at the age she was when her husband was in office. Not sure what age that was, but I was a kid, so it seemed old!
