Fact of the Day: Swim Fin

As a child, Ben Franklin invented a pair of swim fins made out of wood. The idea of fins to aid humans in swimming was also something Leonardo Da Vinci worked on.

But then they invented plastic bags of air. Who did that, I wonder? And everyone made a mint. I remember after the war, in the 50's they all said, invest in plastics .... and let's clog up all the land fills but we'll have water wings. LOL

He was quite a guy, our Ben Franklin. Leonardo also created designs for a submarine.
