Fact of the Day: Volcano Ocean

While volcanoes exist around the world, the most notable are the ones in the Ring Of Fire. The Ring of Fire makes up most coastlines that border the Pacific Ocean. The vast majority of the world's volcanoes are in The Ring of Fire.

I knew that because hubby loves anything volcano related or earthquake related. Volcanoes are scary.

Scary. I'd hate to live anywhere near one.

I've only seen three volcanoes: Vesuvius, Hekla, and Etna.
Luckily, Vesuvius and Hekla weren't active (and thank goodness Vesuvius wasn't right?). Etna routinely smokes/becomes active. It really is a beautiful sight.

Wow Adam now I know! We have a lot of volcanoes especially in the south of Chile.
And yes are amazing but sometimes are dangerous!

I was going to say this reminds me of the Johnny Cash song which I am now listening to on YouTube. Fascinating fact on the volcanoes Adam. I still remember when Mount Saint Helen's blew. We were living 800 miles away at the time and our sky was yellow and we had flecks of ash falling. It was the strangest thing I have ever experienced.

I didn't know this. The RING OF FIRE I like is the song, written by June Carter Cash, for her amazing husband, JOHNNY CASH. :)
