Fact of the Day: British Patrick

While St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland, he actually was never from the country. While disputed, his birthplace was either in Wales or Scotland.

Either Scotland or Briton...maybe we will never know, because no one seems to know for sure..

Yes, he was kidnapped and taken to Ireland as a slave when he was a young man.

Didn't I hear that like so many saints, there isn't actual proof that Patrick, like St. Christopher, really existed?
