Random Photo: New Oven

We used to have a oven that was probably older than I was. There wasn't much wrong with it, but my mother found any excuse to get rid of it in her mind. The good? A lot of new modern advances like seeing what the current temperature it is. The bad? The "new" smell, which unlike the new smell of car isn't good at all. Took a few days to get rid of it.

I'm sure that your mom is thrilled to get a new stove! A lot of the time when I was growing up, we had wood stoves to cook on. Tricky, but it was fun to warm your feet on the open oven door, and they always had a warmer up top when you could raise bread or warm plates. Have a good one!

Yay! New Stove! Althought I can't say I was ever a big fan of electric stoves.

I imagine this new stove will soon be braking in a plump Thanksgiving turkey.
