Fact of the Day: Pale Flag

While the American flag that was put on the moon is still there, it's not exactly gone undamaged. Extreme temperature changes, along with harsh UV radiation from the Sun has made the flag lose its color. Now it's more of a pale white than the beautiful flag it was in 1969.

I somehow like the idea of a neutral white flag on the moon!

It was better to put up a neutral colours flag, that would have been a nice jesture to us all.

Seems fitting. The moon is for all, not just for Americans. Especially now that we've learned it's not really made of cheese.
