Fact of the Day: Orange Falls

Bobby Leach was the first man (but not the first person) to go over Niagara Falls and survive. However he died later after suffering complications from gangrene. The reason he died all came from an accident when he slipped on an orange peel.

I knew he survived the Falls - but evidently not the simple fall... how ironic.
