Fact of the Day: Paddlefish

Paddlefish have existed since the days of the last dinosaurs, in the late Cretaceous period. They are often called "primitive fish" because they have changed very little since the 75 million years they've been on the Earth.

It's interesting how nature has deemed the design of some species so perfect that no change has occurred in millions of years, unlike humans who are still evolving.
